Sinopsis
“Fake Food” focuses on the actions of the ultra-processed industries and unveils how, behind the scenes of the industry that produces practical and increasingly cheaper food, a high number of deaths due to illness are hidden, with an impact on climate change. Leading experts will tell us how the industry discourages breastfeeding, suffocates ancient food cultures and interferes with scientific research - all served with a side of abusive advertising and lobbying.
About
The documentary “Fake Food” departs from conflicts in Brazil to focus on the actions of ultra-processed food industries that architect a problematic diet for the world, at all costs. Using the industry's profit-making strategies as its narrative thread, the documentary is organized by the main contradictions and problems generated in the ultra-processed production chain - from production to consumption.
